Nuke the Punchline: Holy Thanatos Batman!

Harvey over at IMAO has another straight line of the day up, and so it is time to pick the winners of the last one:

How will DC Comics kill off Robin? ...

#5 D***Cat: ...Bird flu.

#4 blarg: ...cancered to death by Mitt Romney.

#3 Rodney Dill: ...he’ll get worms.

#2 HokieGomer: ...Michael Moore eats Robin after mistaking him for a turkey sandwich.

And the best punchline goes to Dohtimes:

How will DC Comics kill off Robin? After being horribly disfigured Robin goes mad, and in an attempt to steal Barack’s mom jeans he is crushed when Michelle sits on him, leading a spokesperson to say ‘Tis booty that killed the beast.

Congratulations Dohtimes!

My punchline would have been: The same way that DC kills off the economy, jobs, freedom...

_______________

The best punchline for the last Nuking Politics straight line was from Bob in Feenicks

Well, technically there wasn't a straight line, but never underestimate nukers...

No straight line for today. Sorry! ...it's been sequestered.

__________

Now here's a line for you guys to piddle with...

Michelle Obama's new TV show...

  3. #3 Rodney Dill: ...he’ll get worms.
(I liked my Monty Python references to Sir Robin better, #4 and #51, but that's just me. I'll take what I can get. Thanks)

    1. I just go by what makes me laugh more. This punchline stuff is really subjective because everyone has a different sense of humor. When I read yours, I imagine Robin from the old TV show pecking worms out of the ground, and that made me laugh.

    2. It's a great gig to have though. I've been running the OTB Caption contest for eight years, and most entries are funny, its just whatever catches your whim at the time to pick the winners.

  5. She wanted to call it The Bong Show, but then Barry wanted to be on it.

  6. ...will be a reboot of Family Matters set in the White House. Joe Biden will play Urkel.
