First, here's an excerpt from mediamatters.org's approach:
Right-Wing Media Push New Benghazi Myths Ahead Of Hearings
Right-wing media are using a congressional hearing to push new myths about the Obama administration's response to the September 11, 2012 attacks on a U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya. In fact, these myths are discredited by previous congressional reports and testimony, which show that the politicized nature of the hearings come from right-wing media and Congressional Republicans, that the military could not have rescued personnel from the second attack, that the administration was in constant communication at all levels during the attacks, and that the intelligence community believed there was a link to an anti-Islam video at the time of the attacks.

And here's an except from the same event as reported on Breitbart:
2. The "protest" about a YouTube video was a complete fabrication by the Obama administration.
3. Cheryl Mills, Clinton's lawyer at the State Department, told witnesses not to speak to House investigators.
4. The diplomatic personnel on the ground acted with incredible, unheralded heroism.
5. Democrats came to rebut the eyewitnesses with talking points.
The key question remains unanswered:
What did President Barack Obama do when he learned the consulate was under attack, and why?
In every instance, this is the way events are treated by these two sites, and each is representative of the approach taken by leftists and by conservative sites, respectively.
Sad, huh?
ReplyDeleteDon't the Leftists have an army of rainbow-farting unicorns that could've been sent in to protect our people?
ReplyDeleteActually, I think they poop M&Ms and fart Fabreze.
