"A poltroon is one who, in a perilous emergency, thinks with his feet. --Ambrose Bierce
Best noun/adjective I've heard in weeks for our Dear Leader:
Poltroon. adj/noun: A craven, spiritless coward. Anyone, especially in a position where leadership is expected, who lacks the courage to face his enemy.
Used in a sentence: He was such a poltroon his only reaction to the Benghazi attack was to run away and hide, and leave good men to die.
In response to a comment posted to a recent blog here at NP.....Thanks, jw.
