The Consensus is Strong With This One

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters today that “the consensus is so broad” in support of unconditional amnesty comprehensive immigration reform, and that Republican leaders should “pay some attention to the Spanish language media in this country.”

 
I have three comments:

  • A technical matter; either this video was recorded at an extremely low volume, or I have suddenly been blessed with the superpower of being able to tune out mindless prattle (call me, Stan Lee).
  • The Spanish language media in this country are the go-to guys on this issue? So I guess Al Jazeera should be the mouthpiece for national security.
