I've hardly watched any TV for quite some time, and you couldn't make me watch something like Syfy's mindless concoction of the week without a comical commentary track or a strong dose of liquid patience, but I think I've come up with an idea for the next big Horror/Disaster/Exploitation potboiler. It's based on what happens when a huge mass of hot air collides with a wall of cold, hard reality:
