Today is the 238th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps, sir. I have a couple of questions for you.
Tarawa. Peleliu. Fallujah. Khe Sanh. Inchon. Belleau Wood...
Ever heard of Iwo Jima? Ever heard the names Michael Strank, Rene Gagnon, Ira Hayes, Franklin Sousley, John Bradley or Harlon Block? Have any idea what they did? Did you know one of them was a Navy Corpsman? (or Corpse man, as you put it).
Do you have any idea what happened in Tripoli in 1805?
Have you ever heard of Cpl John F. Mackie? 1st Lt. Baldomero Lopez?
How about Gen Lewis B. Puller?
Have any idea what Semper Fidelis means?
This is not a history lesson, Mr. Obama. This list does not begin to scratch the surface. Lots of people are unfamiliar with these names and places, but then lots of people aren't the Commander In Chief of this country's military.
Do you have an inkling of what it means to take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and to know without question that you will make it good right up to and including the last day of your life?
Your attempts to destroy this country will fail because we say so.
BEAUTIFUL
