"Shining City On A Hill"

Mr. Obama:  Ronald Reagan spoke about a "Shining City on a Hill"…He was quoting John Winthrop.  He also said  "America's vision of the future must and will be a vision worthy of it's past…"  Thomas Jefferson spoke about the "Tree of Liberty".  Those men are gone now, but the things they spoke of remain, and their ghosts are here with us at this campfire.  History will remember you only as someone who didn't understand any of it, who thought he could replace it all with the very thing that caused us to create this Nation in the first place.  There are millions of us out here sir, and we're not going to go away.
