Settled Law

I wrote this up a while back, but never ended up posting it. But it still seems timely today, so I figured what the heck.

Amusingly, it was written when the Obamacare exchanges were just opening for "business," and failing horribly at every aspect of what they were intended to do. Today, the story isn't much different: Obamacare is still slowly crashing. It's like watching a blimp crash: "Oh no! We're going down!............We're still going down!........ We're STILL going down!!!!......Would anyone like a cup of tea?........WE'RE STILL STILL GOING DOWN!!!!!!

Anyway, that said, here's the original post:

I thought that with the Obamacare meltdown in full swing, and Queen Nancy and others out there still letting us know that It's. The. Law. and that it's "Settled Law," that I might take a look at other laws that were "Settled Law," at least until they weren't.

Remember, it's only "Settled Law" when the "Progressives"  and democRats like it, otherwise, it's only a suggestion.

So, bearing this in mind, here are some "Settled Laws" throughout history. (Warning: One pretty gruesome image after the jump (or maybe two))

The Ten Commandments

I could go on and on all might with examples. The fact is, the democRats and Progressives will continue to attempt to repeal or ignore the laws of which they disapprove, and pretend the ones they like are etched in stone, like the Ten Commandments, except ones they believe in.

So, don't tell me Obamacare is "Settled Law." The nation is finally getting a chance to "See what's inside of it" and all that is there is a big pile of cow manure.
